Delivery took about a week to our city. Support answered size questions quickly before we paid. Edges are neat and the colour is consistent across the mat.

Using it daily in the living room. Holds shape well, no weird chemical smell. Guests always ask where we got it from.

Quality is clearly a step above printed straw mats. Weave is tight, corners are clean, and it sits flat on our tiled floor without curling.

Bought as a gift for my parents. They were surprised by how substantial it feels. Care sheet included was useful for humidity season.

Second order from Tatami Mat — same consistent finish as before. Good for anyone who wants something closer to authentic Japanese flooring.

Not the cheapest option, but you can tell the materials are better. Installation was simple; we just unrolled, aired it overnight, and placed it.

Photos online are close to reality. Tone is natural, not neon green. After three weeks of use it still looks new.

Had a small query about thickness before ordering — team replied the same day. Mat arrived well protected with corner guards.

Using the reed sleep mat under a thin mattress topper. Airflow is better than foam in summer. Weave is even and smell is mild natural reed.

Lighter than the Igusa options we compared, which helped when rearranging the room. Still supportive enough for side sleeping with a futon.
